Bowhead Cybersecurity Solutions and Services (BCSS) is an Alaska Native 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business that provides high-end technical and professional services with an emphasis on providing Cyber Solutions.

BCSS provides Cyber Security and Information Technology (IT) services such as network administration and hardening against cyberattacks. Using a variety of approved and mature software products, BCSS provides user support including Tier I through Tier III help desk support. We apply ITIL v3 best practices and adhere to established standard operating procedures. We proactively engage with customers to identify issues and solutions.

Our Host Based Security Systems (HBSS) Analysts configure, integrate, operate, and maintain Data Center environments by:

  • Performing system administration, monitoring, integration, and modification of HBSS operational parameters;
  • Providing services supporting onsite security (HBSS, McAfee, Symantec) and authentication (Microsoft Active Directory).

BCSS has experience performing IT system administration (Windows, UNIX, Linux), including performance tuning, system availability, capacity planning, provisioning, security and STIG, IAVA and IA implementation and compliance. Our experienced Subject Matter Experts perform Risk Management Framework (RMF) validations and full system Assessment and Authorization (A&A) to establish Authority to Operate (ATO). We perform research and test configurations to determine the best solution to meet customer goals and objectives.
