Bowhead Colorado Springs celebrated a two-day grand opening/open house event Oct. 13-14, 2021.
Board members, Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation (UIC) senior executives, and executives from UIC Government Services (UICGS) and the Bowhead Family of Companies traveled from locations across the United States to celebrate the grand opening in Colorado Springs. Attendees included VIPs from local businesses, new employees, and community members.
UIC President and CEO Delbert Rexford, Chairman of the Board Price Brower, Senior Vice President Mike Hundley, and Vice President of Systems and Information Technology Cary Randolph each gave remarks to highlight the occasion.
Opening the Colorado Springs office is a significant milestone for Bowhead and highlights the commitment to customers and industry partners in the Intermountain Region.
“Whenever we open new Bowhead offices, we make sure to embed ourselves into the community, get to know our neighbors, and contribute to the local economy. We’ve done this with offices all across the United States, and we intend to do the same thing here in the great state of Colorado,” Hundley said.
Bowhead’s goal in Colorado Springs is to explore new markets and avenues of business, add new jobs in the Intermountain Region, and build the Bowhead name in the community.
“This office helps us leverage our presence in the Intermountain Region and concentrate on bringing on more affiliations. We look forward to being a contributing member of the community here in Colorado Springs and the state of Colorado,” Randolph added.
Rexford and Brower presented the new office with an authentic Bowhead whale baleen and a walrus skull artifact from Alaska to commemorate the opening, two items that signify the cultural heritage of the Iñupiat people and UICGS/Bowhead as a company.
The Bowhead Colorado Springs office location is 1330 Inverness Drive, Suite 100, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
