On July 8^th, the new headquarters for UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies opened its doors in Springfield, VA. After nearly 14 years at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA, this move allows growth for both the organization and its capabilities while providing significant cost savings.

With the Bowhead brand now prominently displayed and visible from Interstate 95, a major metropolitan thoroughfare in the DC Metro area, the new UICGS Headquarters is in close proximity to other large government contracting players such as the General Services Administration (GSA), Northrup Grumman, and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

The HSET and Office Management teams spearheaded the complex move over the last several months. With the assistance of the IT and Marketing departments as well as general contractors and vendors, the move was completed on time with the doors opening on July 8^th. The relocation included an interior refresh of two floors creating an arctic-inspired atmosphere. During the move, employees and teams worked together to organize, pack, and transfer office items, plus all IT services and equipment.
