Bill Bryson recently joined Bowhead Professional Solutions (BPS) as the Business Development Director, located in our Belcamp, MD office. He retired from the U.S. Army following a 22+ year career in armor, aviation and operational planning assignments. Since retiring from the Army, he has been working business development positions focused on aviation and defense aerospace markets. Bill has a wide-range of experience in strategic planning, capture management, proposal development, and customer relations. He is a graduate of the University of Baltimore, and the Army Command & General Staff College.

 Jeff Borland recently joined the Army Sustainment Command App Dev contract in Rock island, IL as the Program Manager. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa, and his Masters of Science Degree in Administration from Central Michigan University. Jeff served as an active duty officer for the United States Army Medical Department from 1988-1999. He also served in various ground and air assignments (Medivac Pilot) including deployments to Operations Desert Shield/Storm in 1991, and Operations Joint Endeavor (1996), and Joint Guard (1998) in Bosnia. Jeff left Active Duty and served in the United States Army Reserve (USAR) from 1999-2007. While in the USAR, he served with the Army Sustainment Command Reserve Component, Rock Island Arsenal, from 2003-2007 with a tour as Battalion Support Operations Officer, and COR for Army Field Support Battalion Afghanistan (2005/06). Later he transferred to the Iowa Army National Guard’s 109th Medical Battalion as Aeromedical Evacuation Officer, Executive Officer, and the culmination of his career, as the Battalion Commander. Jeff retired from service in 2015.

Chris Sheppard is excited to join UIC Government Services team as an Information Systems Security Manager and is in the process of relocating to the Springfield office from Florida with his partner, Mark. He specializes in risk management, audit/assessment support, regulatory compliance, and policy development. Prior to joining the Bowhead family Chris served for 10 years as the information security officer at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, providing cybersecurity support to the criminal justice community. In his free time you’ll find him tending his extensive vegetable gardens, experimenting in the kitchen (under the watchful eye of his Labrador Retriever “Evie”), or trekking the globe in pursuit of the perfect travel photograph.
