ALEXANDRIA, VA AUGUST 1, 2013 – UIC Technical Services and its Bowhead family of companies are pleased to announce that Floyd Warren joined the company in May as its new Vice President of Support Operations. As Vice President, he is responsible for services provided by Bowhead to key Navy clients at the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), and SPAWARSYSCEN LANT (SSC Charleston). Bowhead currently supports the Navy with contracting professional support services on major programs such as V-22, UAS/UCAS/UCLAS, E-2/C-2, H-1, H-53, FMS, and areas such as engineering, test and evaluation, (T&E), and logistics. Mr. Warren’s regional areas of focus include Southern Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Charleston, South Carolina.
When asked why he chose to work at Bowhead, Mr. Warren stated, “Bowhead is an excellent company and a superb, customer support-oriented organization for NAVAIR/NAWCAD. There are numerous small businesses in the area and I specifically picked Bowhead from all the available opportunities because it is a trusted, ethical company with a history of quality Contractor Support Services (CSS) to their customers. I felt my 22 years of operations and business development experience would be beneficial to Bowhead and would assist them in providing an expanded level of support with new and expanding business bases.”
An industry veteran, Mr. Warren has supported NAVAIR and the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) in various management roles, including COO, Division Manager, and Director at both large and small service contractors including Wyle, PSI PAX, and SAIC/Eagan McAllister. In his present role, Mr. Warren will report to Bowhead’s Engineering and IT Group President Andy Geisz.
