Bowhead Systems Management, LLC (BSM) in partnership with the Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) presented the Risk Management Certification Course during the pre-conference training event for the DRI 2018 National Conference in Nashville, TN in February.

BSM has a Commercial Business agreement to provide DRI with the risk management certification training as the exclusive provider of instructors for this professional risk management certification course. Bowhead developed the four-day risk management course in 2014. During the annual conference, Bowhead leaders Daniel See and Royce Harvey presented a 90-minute workshop on how to perform risk assessments. The workshop was attended by over 100 attendees with overall outstanding feedback considering the time constraints.

Since the conference, Bowhead has signed a new commercial agreement with DRII for an additional five years.

“With this new agreement we have developed a new, two-day course to supplement the standard four-day course that will make it a bit easier for busy business professionals to attend the two-day course vice giving up a full week to training, which we know never fits the schedule,” comments Mr. See, Director of Operations, Systems & Technology.

This relationship with DRI continues to grow helping to bring risk management certification to the Business Continuity Professionals. The course teaches the basics of sound risk management so anybody is welcome to take the course to gain solid Risk Management skills to take back to any profession.
