BPMO Supports Impact Assessments of the COVID-19 Pandemic for the DOI

Bowhead Program Management and Operations, LLC (BPMO) supports the Department of the Interior (DOI) identifying and understanding the impact COVID-19 poses on their ability to accomplish mission area goals and objectives. These include the impact to programs, funds, and grants across the various Bureaus and Offices, such as the Bureau of Land Management and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.  Other assessment areas include National Park use, permit processing, land appraisal, and human capital hiring processes.

The COVID -19 pandemic has had unprecedented impact on the delivery of services across the Federal Government. As such, both the government and the public have made adjustments in how they conduct regular business and how they perform required duties. Team Bowhead’s assessment results will provide DOI leadership with information that enables actionable decisions, including developing new processes, highlighting new service opportunities, identifying risks, and responding to Congressional reporting requests.

Bowhead is honored to have the opportunity to support the DOI in its missions to honor the Nation’s trust responsibilities for American Indians, Alaska Natives, and affiliated island communities to help them prosper; to manage the Nation’s natural resources and cultural heritage for the benefit and enjoyment of the American people; and to provide scientific and other information about natural resources and natural hazards to address societal challenges and create opportunities for the American people.
