Bowhead’s Manufacturing and Products Group (M&P) located in Plano, TX recently participated in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Small Business Roundtable in Lakehurst, NJ. VP Operations Tim Howell was a member of a four-person business leadership panel providing insights to an audience made up of small and medium-size companies and Government officials focused on “How to Get Paid”. The panel detailed their respective experiences with the confluence of Government Contract Terms & Conditions, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).

NAWCAD — Lakehurst Small Business Roundtable Industry Panel

The focus of the NAWCAD, Lakehurst Small Business Roundtable (LKE-SBR) is for Government and industry to collaborate to enhance small business participation in Naval Aviation contracts and provide a forum to address small business issues and concerns. The LKE SBR is led by a joint Government/Industry Executive Steering Committee (ESC) consisting of members that are nominated and elected for two-year term. Bowhead’s Manufacturing and Products Group is a member of the ESC.
